Save and upload a report using a macro in an excel report
In my topic Open and save a file inclusing an asterisk using a macro in an excel report, I already explained how to open and save in an automatic way. This one is another way, the main difference is that if the file already exists, the overwriting message will not appear, meaning that it will overwrite automatically.
When I use the macro ?
Instead to upload it manually, I use this macro to do it automatically by just clicking 1 button.
How to create the macro ?

How is/are the macro(s) ?
Copy the code below and paste it into your macro. You will see my comments in green if exist so follow the help to adapt to your need.
First option:
Sub test() ' change xxx to your path where you want to save ' for sharepoint: ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs "https://xxx/" & ActiveWorkbook.Name ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs "\\xxx\" + ActiveWorkbook.Name ' to display the overwriting message, change False to True Application.DisplayAlerts = False End Sub
Second option:
Sub test() ' change xxx to your path where you want to save ChDir "\\xxx\" ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:=ActiveWorkbook.Name ' to display the overwriting message, change False to True Application.DisplayAlerts = False End Sub
